Christmas Time

I am all caught up! As caught up as I'm going to be before I leave for AZ for Christmas! Mylin and I are heading to AZ tomorrow because my little brother gets home from his mission on Monday! We are so excited. Tim will be heading down sometime next week. Anyways, I have some pictures of Christmas crafts that Mylin and I have been doing, but that will be for another time. These pictures are all out of order, but I don't even care because I'm done! (And now I actually have Christmas pictures to go with my Christmas background. It was driving me crazy to have the Fall ones on.)

This was after Mylin put the star on the tree. She LOVES Christmas. The first thing we have to do every morning is turn on the Christmas tree lights. And anytime she sees anything Christmasy, she will say "HO, HO, HO!!!" Usually really loudly.

Ok--so we went and saw Santa at the mall. Mylin was not a fan. But, it was set up so cute in the mall. It was set up like Santa's village. There were little trains and snow covered mountains and little elves building toys. It was really one of the cutest set-ups I have ever seen. Here was Santa's Workshop. You could buy wood toys or ornaments to decorate and Mylin picked out the star.

They had a carousel just of reindeer! Mylin was scared at first, but then she got the hang of it!

Mylin waiting in line...

See how cute the set-up was?!

Another waiting picture...

She calmed down a little once she got a candy cane!

This is a random one...It was supposed to go with the last post about Thanksgiving, but I was too lazy to go back and edit that one, so I just threw it on here. She was helping me make a pie for Thanksgiving and I just love her face in this one!

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

Thanksgiving 2011

For Thanksgiving this year, Tim's parents, his two brothers and their families came and stayed with us. We had a house full, but it was super fun! I think there were 15 of us! It was fun to see all these little ones.

This is like the only group picture I took. This was our Thanksgiving meal. I was pretty pleased with how everything turned out. Mylin missed Thanksgiving dinner though! She was napping and I didn't want to wake her up to eat. But we saved her some food!

We went to the beach a few times, but I never took my camera. I need to get a little point and shoot camera for the beach because I hate taking my nice one there. It is really hard to keep the sand out of it. Anyways...one day we went to Balboa Island. It's just this little island thing with fun shops and restaurants. You take a little ferry to get there, which the kids loved. This is on the ferry.

Mylin rode the Ferris Wheel for the first time. I couldn't tell if she liked it or if she was scared.

For those asking to see my baby-bump...here ya go. Getting huge!
Also---Chelsee took way more pictures than I did, so if you want to see more, go check out her blog!
Thanks for coming everyone!

Shoes and more...

Ok--so for my second post of the day, we have a picture overload! But guys...I only have TWO more things to post about after this! I am almost caught up! This is very exciting news for me!
This is the last random post, I think. It's just a bunch of pictures that don't really fit anywhere.

One day I couldn't find Mylin anywhere. Finally I found her here. It was funny but then when I got her out, she was all covered in soot. Not fun.

Mylin is in LOVE with shoes right now. She is always putting them on and taking them off and she will get really frustrated if she can't get them on. One night, right before bed and after a bath, she came out of my room wearing one of my high-heels and one of my tennis shoes.

She found some of my fuzzy socks and loved wearing them.

Ignore her bedhead! Wearing daddy's shoes.

This is how she sleeps now. The second I put her into her crib, she turns and sticks her feet out of the slat things. Every night after she falls asleep I go in her room and put her legs back into the crib! I have no clue why she sleeps like this because it doesn't look comfortable. At all.

One day she was being super quite and I found her like this. I have no clue why she has on the Easter Bunny ears, but it was pretty funny!

The week after we moved here, Tim had to be out of town for the whole week. I was super lonely in a brand new town. My awesome friend Regan (Yes, I know I am lucky to have her as a friend!) and Rylan came and stayed with me and Mylin for a night. We had so much fun and we were so glad they came to stay with us! I think Mylin was needing friends more than I was! She was sooo excited to have Rylan here and when they left Mylin ran into the house and looked in every room, saying "RYLAN". For like 20 minutes. I almost started crying because she kept checking the house for her. It was sad! Anyways...while they were here, they had a slumber party and watched Tangled and ate popcorn. The popcorn actually wasn't planned. They got into Regan's bag where she had a few treats and took her bag of popcorn! Then they just ate it off the floor! Good thing it was clean!

I reupholstered my kitchen chairs and Mylin was "helping" me.

Ok....only two more posts to go! Then I think I'll take a break from blogging for a while!

Halloween 2011

Halloween

This year Mylin was a little ladybug and her friend Rylan was a bumble bee. They looked SO cute together! This was at Regan's ward party. It was a crazy time because the next day my friends were throwing me a baby shower and then right after the shower, we were moving! Like, I literally left the baby shower and drove to Huntington. So Halloween was kinda crazy!

The next pictures are from Halloween night. Halloween was a sad day for me. I was feeling bad for myself because all of my friends were going Trick-Or-Treating together and I was all alone in a brand new town. On Halloween, we had been living here for like a day and a half. I got Mylin ready to go Trick-Or-Treating at like 4:00. Tim ended up having to work late and then got lost on the way home, so he didn't get home until almost 8 and I didn't want to take Mylin by myself because I was unfamiliar with the area, so we just waited. And waited. But when he got home we were able to go to a few houses. Mylin didn't know what to think at first, but after the first two houses, she was running right up to the doors!

Waiting to go Trick-Or-Treating.

Really interested in the trick-or-treaters that came to our house.

She was excited by all her candy...Although she doesn't look it here!

Autumn Time

These are a few of my favorites from October. I'm slowly getting caught up!

We went to the Harvest Festival again.

They gave Mylin this little pumpkin and she was pretty excited. We put in on the porch next to our other pumpkins and every time we walked by the pumpkins, she would pick this one up and move it to a different spot. She was always rearranging the pumpkins.

This is at the pumpkin patch, picking out our pumpkins.

Carving pumpkins.

We had a lot of fun doing Fall painting projects. Mylin really likes to paint!

She was covered in paint by the time we were done. In her hair, on her face, in her ears! She's a messy painter!

I guess painting just wore her out because when she was done, she just laid down....which happened to be right in a pile of paint! She was a mess!

Balloons....

Alright...here is another post about nothing. These are just a few random pics of Mylin that I like.

She makes this face a lot. Mostly when something surprises here.

I just thought she looked so cute one day before church...

I know I've said on here before how much Mylin loves balloons. She still does. I have found the best balloons to get are the dollar store ones because they are only a dollar and they last FOREVER!

I don't know why I love this picture so much. Her face is dirty. She's playing with a bottle of dishwasher cleaning stuff (which by the way, was brand new so it wasn't opened yet! Don't worry, I don't let her play with opened cleaning supplies!) ---But I love it.

Mylin and Rylan

Here are a few pictures of Mylin with her little best friend Rylan. Mylin sure misses Rylan now that we have moved and she gets so excited to see pictures of her! On this day, the girls had their "babies" and were taking such good care of them! Rocking them and telling them "Shhh"! It was pretty cute.

Here is just one at the park. I know Mylin's hat doesn't match her outfit, but she really wanted to wear it that day. (I wish she would keep hats on more often! She usually never keeps them on.)

One day Mylin, Rylan, Regan, Regan's mom, and I went to the Santa Barbara Zoo. It was fun because the girls were older and they were more excited to see the animals. The favorite thing of the day was feeding the giraffe! Mylin reached right out and fed him all by herself!

Regan's mom is so cute and bought the girls matching Zebra shirts just for the zoo! Of course, I didn't get any pictures of all of us, but the girls looked pretty adorable in their matching shirts!
