Fun with Friends!

My friend Meredith (from college) and her husband Steve and little girl Hadley came out to visit us! We had sooo much fun with them! They stayed with us for three days and we loved every second.

The first day they got here we rode the ferry to Balboa Island.

There's a park on the beach at Balboa Island and we played there for a while.

After that we hung out at Newport Beach and had lunch at the Crab Cooker (which apparently was great, but since I don't eat seafood, I'll take their word for it! Mer and I just ate bread!)

Later that night we ate dinner down on the pier at Ruby's Diner and then had some yummy milkshakes. Afterwards we walked along main street and came across the end of a concert. We hung around for a bit and the girls had a lot of fun running around and dancing!

The next day we went down to the tide pools in Newport. However, we didn't see anything because we went at high tide and to see anything you need to go at low tide. However, the girls had so much fun playing in the water. Mylin loves the water and was drenched in seconds. Hadley was a little hesitant at first, but eventually she got her feet wet!

Hadley is a huge fan of the sand.

I like our shadows! Haha I think this is the only picture with all seven of us! (I'm carrying Kale)

The next day we went to Disneyland! We woke up early and made it to Disneyland a little after it opened. We ran first to the Peter Pan ride because that line is always long. I love that ride. We were able to do a bunch of rides in the morning without much wait at all.

I love this one of Hadley. She really was having fun!

Mylin and Hadley loved this band! Probably because they gave them little gold necklaces! The girls danced around them for quite a while.

I am going to do another post one day with all of the characters Mylin has taken pictures with for her autograph book. However, I think this one is my absolute favorite of the character pictures! She was SOOO excited to meet Eeyore! I don't even know why she was so excited for him, but she was! She snuggled right up to him.

Kale was a champ the whole time! He's such a little trouper.

We enjoyed having someone else to go with because we were able to do some baby swapping and Tim and I were able to go on some big kid rides that we haven't been on yet!
Steve and Tim's faces are awesome in this pic!

We also had some dinner at Carnation Cafe and watched the parade, which is always fun. After a long, hot day, we called it quits around nineish and went home. We had so much fun with you guys and please come again soon! *Also thanks Mer for the pictures I stole off your blog!

Santa Ana Zoo

My sister got us passes to the Santa Ana Zoo for Christmas and we've had a lot of fun using them. Here are a few pictures from the last time we went.

This is Mylin's "Funny Face"---It's more of a mean face, but it is still pretty funny!

Mylin loved feeding the little animals.

Her favorite part is riding the carousal after we are done walking around the zoo.

Kale- Seven Months

This little man is seven months today!
He crawls all over the place and he is FAST. You should see me trying to vacuum. He loves the vacuum and he chases me all around while I am vacuuming and he is so fast that I have to be careful not to run into him! He is doing so much better with his reflux. He sleeps horribly. No teeth yet, but he's working on it. He sure is a handsome little guy!

He just woke up from a nap and I don't think he's feeling too well. His eyes look a little baggy.

Okay, so I just had to share these pictures! These were from a while back when he first started eating veggies. He was making the funniest faces and kept spitting the food out. He hated it! The funny thing was that this wasn't his first time eating the peas. This was like his fifth time, and he just could not get used to it. The pictures aren't the best quality because he was making the funniest faces as soon as I put it in his mouth, so I was feeding him with one hand and taking pictures with my other hand.

I think he is mad at me in this picture!
